Kate Middleton Wears Wild Flower Dress Similar To My Art
How wonderful to see Kate Middleton the Duchess of Cambridge yesterday at Wimbledon, wearing the most beautiful white, short-sleeve dress with a colourful wildflower design. Included were some of my favourite wild flowers; poppies, cornflowers and daisies. It did remind me of my original oil painting My Heart Laughs In Flowers.
Wild Flower Dress
The dress was reported to be from Catherine Walker & Co a leading British Couture House who has included wild flower prints in many of its stunning designs.

Everyone can connect with flowers. A certain flower variety, the scent, can be a trigger that transports us to a memory. I am fascinated to experiment with colour and texture to recreate this emotion in art just like fashion designers do with clothing and florists with bouquets.
